A plain-language explanation of the data Sheet2Notice needs to turn a public sheet into a live display.

Last updated: 5 August 2026

The short version

Sheet2Notice only reads Google Sheets that you explicitly publish to the web. Use it for queue tokens, public lobby metrics and other information already meant for a wall screen — never for private, personal, medical, financial or confidential data.

You do not create an account. A random owner token stored in your browser and owner link allows you to change display settings, so you should keep that link private.

Information the service stores

To operate a display, Sheet2Notice stores its generated identifier, a normalised published Google Sheet identity (spreadsheet and tab), template type, display settings, a cached sheet snapshot for live screens, and a random owner token tied to that display so the creating browser can change settings. The service may also retain operational logs needed to diagnose errors and protect availability.

After you generate a display you may optionally leave an email address to back up your manage link, request a free setup call, or receive product tips. That email is never required to create or use a display, is stored as self-reported until verified, and is not exposed through public APIs. If you email us directly, we receive your address and the contents of your message so we can reply.

Published Google Sheet content

Sheet2Notice fetches the public CSV representation of the sheet and renders valid rows as a live display (Queue Display, Metric Cards, Schedule Board, Notice Board, FAQ and other templates). Anyone with the published sheet URL may be able to access that source directly through Google.

Display iframe, share and TV Mode URLs are marked not to be indexed and are excluded from the sitemap. A noindex directive reduces search discovery but is not an access-control mechanism. Publishing a sheet is the access control — treat it like a public webpage.

Cookies and analytics

Sheet2Notice uses a first-party owner token so the browser that created a display can update its settings. The current service does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural advertising trackers.

We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly page-view metrics (which pages are visited and roughly how often). It is designed not to use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking profiles. We do not sell analytics data.

Service providers and retention

Sheet2Notice uses infrastructure providers to host the website, database and application. Information is kept for as long as needed to operate displays, maintain security and meet legal obligations.

To request deletion of a display, ask about brand removal during early access, or ask a privacy question, email vaibhav@aayutech.in and include the public display link or block identifier.

Changes

This policy may change as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised update date.
