Schedule Board

A live schedule and dispatch board your team updates from Google Sheets

Turn timed sheet rows into a live TV for flight schools, auto shops, gyms, coworking rooms and facility boards. Optional lobby ticker for notices.

In one sentence

Sheet2Notice Schedule Board reads a published Google Sheet and shows timed slots with status, owner and location. Flight schools typically use Tail Number, Aircraft Model, Pilot / Student, Instructor and Departure Time. Shops, gyms and rooms can use Bay / Vehicle / Job, Class / Coach / Station, or Room / Event aliases. Status values include Scheduled, In Flight / In Progress, Briefing, Delayed, Waiting Parts, Weather, Maintenance, Complete / Ready and Cancelled.

01

Built for briefing rooms, bays and floor TVs

Teams still update whiteboards by hand or rely on desktop apps nobody can see from across the room. A shared sheet keeps the wall TV honest for everyone watching.

  • Flight school and FBO dispatch boards
  • Auto shop bay / job status boards
  • Gym class, coworking and meeting room schedules
  • Dock, training and facility slot boards
02

Layout presets on the same sheet

Schedule Board is the core engine. Catalogue presets (Flight School Dispatch, Shop Board, Gym Class Schedule, Coworking Room Board, Meeting Room Display, Clinic Staff Board) only change defaults such as hide-completed and lobby ticker — same columns.

  • Board, table or grouped-by-status layouts
  • Optional Lobby ticker in display options
  • Hide completed for a live-only board
  • URL filters such as ?status=flying, briefing

The schedule sheet format

Row 1 holds the headers. Copy flight sample rows from the builder for an aviation aha sheet, or rename headers to Bay / Vehicle / Job (shops), Class / Coach / Station (gyms), or Room / Meeting / Organizer (meeting rooms).

  • Tail Number (or Bay / Room / Station / Location)
  • Aircraft Model (or Vehicle / Service / Class / Event / Meeting)
  • Pilot / Student (or Job / Owner)
  • Instructor (optional — Coach / Tech / Host / Organizer)
  • Departure Time (or Time / ETA / Promised)
  • Status: Scheduled, In Flight / In Progress, Briefing, Delayed, Waiting Parts, Weather, Maintenance, Complete / Ready, Cancelled
  • Notes, Highlight (optional)

Questions, answered

What people ask before starting

Is Schedule Board only for flight schools?

No. Flight schools are a strong fit, but the same engine powers shop bay boards, gym class schedules, coworking rooms and facility slots. Use industry aliases or Time / Event / Owner / Location.

Can I show runway, shop-hour or class notices?

Yes. Use the Lobby ticker field in display options for a short notice under the board. For a longer notice list, add a Notice Board tab in the same workbook for a second screen.

What data is safe to publish?

Only public wall information. Prefer initials and job codes. Never put customer PII, patient data, certificates, medical records or payment details in a published sheet.

How fast do updates appear?

Usually within about 15 seconds after the published sheet changes.
