Privacy: job codes, not customers

Published sheets are public. Use Job or Work Order codes and vehicle descriptors you would put on a lobby whiteboard. Never publish customer names, phones, emails or full VINs you treat as sensitive.

Shop Board only changes defaults (hide completed, title, privacy ticker). Pick Schedule Board in the builder anytime and map Bay → location, Vehicle → event, Job → owner.

Add the display in 3 steps

    Create the bay sheet

    Headers: Bay, Vehicle, Job, Time (or ETA), Status. Optional Tech and Notes. Paste rows for today’s open jobs.

  2. 02

    Publish and generate

    Publish the workbook to the web, paste the tab URL, choose Schedule Board (or open Shop Board defaults from /templates), and generate.

  3. 03

    Mount the shop TV

    Open TV Mode on a Smart TV or Fire TV facing the bays. Update Status as jobs move.

What people ask before starting

Can we show customer names?

Only if that information is already meant for a public wall. Prefer job codes. Never put phones, emails or payment details in a published sheet.

Does this replace our shop management system?

No. Sheet2Notice is a presentation layer for what you choose to show on a wall. RO / DMS tools stay the system of record.

How do Waiting Parts and Ready show up?

Set Status to Waiting Parts or Ready (aliases map into the Schedule Board status colours). The sheet wording stays on the pill when you use those labels.
